FREE self-defense workshop
Hey kids,
I am organizing a FREE self-defense workshop for queer youth with Home Alive and I was wondering if you or any one you know would be interested in participating. The workshop is 3 hours long and focuses on such themes as setting and maintaining healthy boundaries, safety planning, awareness, basic strikes, and getting out of common grabs. There are two possible dates for the workshop, Saturday Dec 10th or Sunday Dec 11th (we are going to see which date and time works best for people) the workshop will be held at the Home Alive office/studio at 1415 10th Avenue (between Pike and Union), on the second floor in Suite 3.
If you or someone you know (who identifies as a queer youth) is interested in participating in this workshop, please contact me with you/their name, contact info and what date and time would work best.
