So I was watching TV and I saw this commercial promoting celibacy for teenagers. Sense I'm board (and kinda drunk) I decide to check it out. So I go to http://www.nosexnoproblems.com/ and I realized that it's being funded by The Washington State Department of Health. So instead of

Ahh! It's like Bizarro World or something!

"It's important to talk with an adult about delaying sex."

"Help your child really understand the consequences of sex... give them a sense of context, such as what life with a sexually transmitted disease could be like "

heh. I can imagine that: "Mommm.... why'd you stop the car so fast? My neck hurts." "Because, darling, that's exactly how you'd be feeling... if you had gonorrhea"

Websites like that are just breeding grounds (no pun intended) for misconceptions.

I've seen that commercial and I thought exactly the same thing! It makes me so mad... I mean they should at least have another version where they promote safe sex for those who cannot or have not been celibate...
