So, I came over here from the veronicamars fanfic LJ, and just finished reading all of this (my Phil professor will be thrilled, because I was supposed to read Rawls, but this was SO much better).

you are definitely NOT the only one to get distracted...it's why I can't bring my laptop to class, I'd be reading fanfic instead of listening :)

Since my class was the sole justification for me getting a laptop I just have to rely on will power and the threat of getting called on in class to keep me from reading it!

hehe, my freshman year, I was in an EXTREMELY boring theology class (requirement---eck), and everyone would bring in their laptops and do other things, cause no one understood what the prof was talking about, so I'd sit there and read fanfic and my flist. Then one day he said we couldn't bring our laptops anymore. :( It didn't matter cause I still didn't pay attention, I just drew in my notebook
