well, I have had a nice little holiday. Claudia and I headed down to St.Paul Minnesota for the holiday weekend. So I spent Canada Day and Independence Day in the U.S. Canada day was obviously only celebrated by Claudia and myself for a brief moment (yay canada), hehe, and for independence day we saw some great fireworks displays, it was nice. If one is wondering what the hell we were doing down in St.Paul Minnesota, it's because Claudia has a really good friend who lives down there. Nice little town, we got to see the largest mall in america, went to the largest underground aquarium in the states, which was totally awesome...you stand on a moving sidewalk that takes you through this passage that is enclosed within an aquarium, so as you move along you can see sharks and turtles and other various fish all going about their business around you...very cool. We also went to the science museum which was also quite cool as well. Other than that, there isn't much to the place. By the end of the five day i was ready to go home. The two main things that bothered me were 1) there is way too many pop machines and not enough coffee shops. Minnesota people really love their pop. I missed not being able to go out on the street and be able to have my choice of at least five coffee shops all within shouting distance. 2) CNN is a sess-pool (sp?) that america seems to be forcing everyone to take a dive into. It is the worst news station in the world and the largest fear peddler I have ever seen or heard. The scariest part about it is the airports. The only televisions that people can watch in the airport are those that have CNN as the only channel. What is the deal with that? You are basically forced to be subjected to it while you wait for your flight whether you want to or not, conciously or subconciously. Crazy shit!

Other than that I had no problems with our neighbouring country.

Other than that things have picked back up to their normal hectic pace now that I am back to work. fun fun.

oh, and I highly recommend THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT!!! This has to be the best supernatural thriller that has come out in a long time. If you liked Donnie Darko, you will love this movie. Definitely a keeper.

cheers
