My Great Expectation
A friend of mine help me to list down interesting places in London. I really owe her a lot. Below is the list which she emailed to me, so I just copy & paste. Thanks dear friend !!!
1. Tower of London
2. Tower Bridge (seblah Tower of London)
3. London Bridge (bole jln ddari Tower bridge ke London Bridge cuma london bridge ni macam bridges biasa, tak glamour)
4. Greenwich (kalau nak best naik ferry dari ferry Terminal dekat Tower Bridge, jadi ferry tu nanti lalu bawah Tower Bridge, bole amik gambar cantik. Greenwich ni boleh masuk for free: Royal Observatory, Maritime Museum dan Queen's House. Plus permandangan cantiikk.. must go!)
5. Trafalgar Square tengok burong2 (plus ada berlambak museums gambar yg masuk percuma)
6. London Eye (huge ferris wheel to see whole of london)
7. Big Ben
8. Westminster Abbey (6-7 semua berdekatan bole cover in one trip)
9. Covent Garden (ni macam market gitu, ada barangan craft n kalau nasib baik ada antique fair kalau awak minat barang antiques)
10. Picaddily Circus (shopping dan theatres kalau awak nak tengok show)
11. MarbleArch (shopping - Selfridges shopping yg slalu kita pegi, ni popular)
12. Bicester Village (Kita tak sampai hajat nak pegi ni pasal kesuntukkan masa. Ni jual branded goods at warehouse prices. Naik train dari Marylebourne stn, tanya tukang jual ticket train mana satu nak naik. Sampai jer kat Bicester, ada shuttle service yg direct pegi warehouse yg jual barang jenama: bayar 1pound per person utk satu trip.)
13. Harrords, Knightsbridge (ni musti pegi pasal shopping centre dia v cantik)
14. High Street Kensington (another shopping area berdekatan dengan Harrods tapi kena naik bus)
15. Buckingham Palace (tengok change of guards, kuda dan anjing, kena tengok schedule dorang. usually every morning kul 11pagi)
16. Primemark at Kilburn (ni nama kedai yg jual baju, kasut, bags, etc mostly below 10pound, very cheap. Kita found out abt this place, 1wk seblum kita balik S"pore.. wasted!)
17. Madam Tussaud (ni wax museum, ada sikit mahal but kalau nak tengok patung wax bole jugak, ada tunjuk planet2 semua, quite worth it)
18. Sherlock Holmes Museum (both 17 & 18 at Baker's Street. Kita tak pernah masuk Sherlock-s Holme's museum but kita masuk gift shop dorang, quite impressive)
19. Camden Town (ni tempat boleh tengok banyak punks yg berambut kaler2.. other than that takde sangat macam2 barang kat sana)
20. Kita tak bole recall sangat.. nanti awak ada map, awak pegi saje mana hati berkenan!
