A hard working, defensive minded Detroit Pistons team "upsets" the glamorous Los Angeles Lakers 4 games to 1. Once again the underdog gets no credit, all the talk now is if Kobe and Phil Jackson come back to the Lakers for another season...
What do I say? FUCK THE NATIONAL MEDIA!
This just makes it even more special to be a true Pistons fan... we don't need anyone else to celebrate with us.
Ever since I picked up a basketball I idolized Isiah Lord Thomas (yes, lord is his middle name)... Then admired Grant Hill, Alan Houston, and Lindsey Hunter, to Ben Wallace and Chucky Adkins, To Chauncey Billups, Rip Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince, Rasheed Wallace, and Ben Wallace... I have always been a Loyal Pistons fan, I always will be. If you know my face, look for me tomorrow at the parade with my Billups away jersey.
