Cataclysm: Confirmation on Hunter Pets at Level 1

I love it when I'm able to write a follow-up on something. Back in April, I wrote a piece where my wife and I guessed at what the starting pets would be for hunters. Lo and behold, information from the beta is available and I have some answers. I take this with a grain of salt, of course, since it's still beta and could change dramatically over

I am looking forward to roleplaying a worgen with you - I have my character all planned in my head. She's not nice at all; all the worst of 19th Century London in this girlie. My only problem now is that I'm full on slots on Kirin Tor. Waaaah! My banker may be seeing the end of the road if they don't put new character slots in. 8-(

Oh, no!! I have all 10 slots locked so we could play on there - have had the names picked out since it's announcement last year. :(

Do you want to stay on that server or should we try another? Do you have any other alts besides your banker that are low-level? I have 7 slots (I think) open on Cenarion Circle which I only use for Alliances toons.

Interesting character idea. I'm afraid I'm not familiar with 19th century London - what are all the worst characteristics? Also, why did you choose to go nasty instead of nice? I'm just curious.

Well, she was originally envisaged as a fury warrior, but when I started writing her and doing initial characterisations she started being quite interesting and leaning more towards the roguish. She's not nasty per se, she's just capable of being low brow and not beyond doing anything to get what she wants. She's a bit of an opportunist and driven by her own wants. But she's also quite a chatty lass, and once she's your friend you ain't gonna get rid of 'er, love. She'll stick with ya through thick an' thin

I'm going to need to do some more character planning. I like the sound of your lady. And if you want to stick with Kirin Tor, I'm totally up for it. Just realize I have a lot of alts I will probably want to toy with. If another server works better for you, I'm happy to hop on another server and try to snag my names.

The first guy I was thinking of was, funny enough, a fury warrior as well. It may take me awhile to fully grasp his concept. I have his full name picked out and wanted him to just be a straight up badass - whirling dervish of pain. Maybe I'll make him start out as a brawling jackass...I dunno.

My dear, I think you don't know who you're talking to. I have _heaps_ of alts to mess with as well. ;-) You not being around will be ok - I have others to go play with as well. Your Kirin Tor-ites could meet my rather helpful 70+ people. ;-)

I just liked the pun of the "furry" warrior. heh That was my entire initial concept of worgengirl-the-warrior. She's definitely more rogue. I've never managed to get a rogue past 45, so this will be fun. 8-) And you can be a brawling jerk and a badass, I suspect. hehe
