Herbs!
I think my garden may have died for good. It's way to expensive to ship ladybugs. There is one organic store in RI that I'm going to call in regards to that. I tried remedies but I can't keep up with the bastards organically. I'll harvest what im getting but I'm sad about it all. I may get some more started plants for my mom's yard but I think it may be a bit late in the year by now.
But at my moms I hit a goldmine in spearmint. It has taken over a section of her garden due to her being a little naive about mint a long time ago. I wouldn't normally pull up the root but the problem is that they have grown into the foundation of the house. It's a 100 year old house so the foundation could be messed up by them. We had to pull them out to prevent damage and ant invasion.
Hung up. Hopefully high enough to protect from the cat.
I also picked up the herb books I got in the mail from online. I was so happy to get them. One came free since they refunded me by accident. :)
All in all it was a productive day and I visited my dad. He won't get a gift till later though. It's our birthday friday. :)
