swedish rape thrillers and homeless trash talk
i saw Girl With the Dragon Tattoo tonight. All i can say is thank god Lars von Trier didn't make this. The anal rape scene would've been the whole movie long. As it was, people cheered when the rapist got his comeuppance, only three people walked out, and I didn't like it or hate it, but am glad I saw it. The bus home took forever and on the walk home I was accosted by a drunk pushing a shopping cart who told me a weird story about his father working at the U-Stor-It and how "at the end of the day, my family is providered for" or something. I got into a funk shortly therafter, bought Phish Food and root beer and am axiously awaiting V's arrival from what sounded like a funnish girls night. *sigh* Least i got ice cream....
