i got a ton of great books today at obelisk, the neighborhood gay bookstore. the best part of all is they were just 99 cents each (woulda all cost me $140 if i'd ordered them online). woo hoo! this is what i got:

this stuff should be great for both my research and clinical work so i am psyched (so to speak. heh)
yesterday i bought a couple of used books. toni morrison's The Bluest Eye and bell hook's Black Looks: Race and Representation. i am reading Black Looks and it is excellent. it's bringing up a lot of stuff for me. i love her analysis. more on this in private :p
on a slightly less nerdy/intellectual note...
The Cooler is an awesome movie!!! i really loved it.
