1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before? Graduated high school, started college, got a boyfriend
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't even remember what mine were last year (I think I was going to my grandfather's funeral the next day, so I probably didn't even make any) but I'm going to make some for next year. I pretty much want to be nicer to Josh and keep the goldfish I'm getting alive (haha).
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Unfortunately, no - but my aunt is pregnant, so hopefully in 2005!
4. Did anyone close to you die? This was a horrible year for that - my grandfather, grandmother, uncle, great-aunt, and my friend's grandfather all passed away and a family friend is on his last legs with cancer at age 28.
5. What countries did you visit? none - maybe if I were richer
6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? a better attitude
7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? august 15 - moved into the dorms at UF, september 5 - josh, october 9 - grandmother passed away
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? getting a 3.8 my first semester of college
9. What was your biggest failure? a B+ in my "EASIEST" class
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? nothing major, although I was pissed off to get strep throat when I was supposed to go to Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights with my friends
11. What were the best things you bought? really nice underwear (shut up, I LOVE underwear), a TV, a laptop computer
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? my friends' in Florida
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? no one's, really - sometimes my own
14. Where did most of your money go? toward clothes and food
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? going to Florida!!, Homecoming, the Winter Formal, picking classes for next semester, doing well this semester

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Hate, no. Dislike, yes, several.
26. What was the best book you read? "I Am Charlotte Simmons" by Tom Wolfe
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Ben Folds
28. What did you want and get? a perfect college, a good roommate, a great boyfriend, an iPod, a laptop
29. What did you want and not get? a new cell phone
30. What was your favorite film of this year? I guess I liked I Heart Huckabee's
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I seriously don't remember. Is that bad? Oh yeah, I sat at home by myself, got rejected from Duke (which at that point I didn't care about since I had already decided to go to UF), and then had dinner and opened presents with my family. It was way more fun than it sounds.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? To have had my family members get better instead of die.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004? pretty boring. Jeans/pants/sweatshirts/T-shirts.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? duh. BRAD AUSMUS! BRAD AUSMUS!
36. What political issue stirred you the most? I guess the election
37. Who did you miss? Right now my friends from Florida - while I was at school, my family, especially Dodi, my immediate family and my cousins
38. Who was the best new person you met? Holy crap. How am I supposed to decide this?
