blah fuckity blah
It's been a fairly decent day--I've been pretty content for most of the day. I'm just really tired, as usual though...and am looking forward to work being over.
And guess what I found out today? The college shuttles (for those of you who don't go here, they are vans the college transports us to town in to go grocery shopping, etc, since we can't really have cars here) are not running anymore for the summer after today. This REALLY sucks b/c I obviously don't have a car, and now I have no idea how I'm going to be able to go grocery shopping for the remainder of the summer. I will still have to go at least two more times this summer, too. Janelle stays busy with her job and play rehearsal, so that's likely not an option. There's a girl at work who is always offering to take me grocery shopping so that I can avoid the shuttles. Hmm, I may be able to ask her next week to take me. Other than that, it looks like I'm stuck taking a taxi there and back--which means I pay $10 just to go grocery shopping. Yeah, it's bullshit. There are still quite a few students on campus, and food service is closed--so how do they realistically expect everyone to get food? haha....yeah, another mistake the college has made haha.
So I decided to rant here and vent out my frustration. ER. Don't worry--I won't starve haha...probably just eat out more :P.
My job is soo monotonous. I hate doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over....for 8 hours a day. lol...i've gotten to the point with this job where I don't even think about what i'm doing anymore. my hands are just doing the typing and work. you know you've entered too many files into a database when you use a donor's last name as your username on livejournal...yeah that's what i just did. the file before me said "bennett," so i put it in as my username. that's sad...hahah.
Courtney called me, and i'm kind of confused about that whole mess. I haven't really talked to her since Monday--and we barely said two words that day...and she's been gone camping all week so. She also got her internet cut off, which really sucks (b/c now whether i talk to her depends solely upon whether she decides to pick up the phone to call me b/c her phone is cut off too. and whether i see her depends solely upon whether she wants to come down here to see me. yeah, i control nothing obviously lol). But she called right when I was heading out the door to go back to work...so she said she's gonna call tonight when she gets off of work. Which is after 12ish...and i should really go to bed before that lol...women are more confusing than i realized. tis true.
okay, i know i complain a lot...i've realized this.
but despite that, I'm still doing fairly well today. yeah, this was a longer entry than i anticipated....i doubt many of you made it through it haha. sorry--but it's rant day :P.
