here's my neice kathleen from about a month ago. i haven't posted any pictures of her yet, so that is now remedied. she's just past 3 months old in the photo.
death day was celebrated with a delicious breakfast with chris. i had stuffed french toast and he had steak and eggs. i love breakfast. unfortunately, i had to work all day after this...and let me tell you...when it's 80 degrees in march...you don't want to work in an ice cream store. we had our busiest day ever in the five seasons they've been open. we ran out of vanilla around eight. that...should never happen. then we ran out of chocolate a few minutes before close, which was kind of hilarious. oh man...long day.
the intervening week was me being stressed out about school and life. because...i do that sometimes beyond reason.
yesterday, chris and i celebrated one year together. had really good thai food, but it was raining a lot, so that wasn't so fun. but yes...hooray. after work, i ended up going to see him again. yeah...i ended up walking all the way there. i missed the belmont bus as soon as i walked out the door, so i decided to walk until another one came. i got all the way to southport and one still hadn't shown up. at that point i figured it'd take the same amount of time to walk the rest of the way to his place by going down southport as walking the rest of way to the red line and waiting for a train. so...i walked about 3.5 miles. everyone yells at me for walking by myself late at night...
joe and loretta are visiting from new jersey this week. i'm on spring break, so it'll be nice to have a bit of time to see them. still working though, but i get easter sunday off. of course, i have a feeling that'll mostly be devoted to finishing up homework, though, because scott and margaret are probably going up to visit matthew and family.
