well, a few days ago they did the chemical stress test, and things weren't going well. crazy chest pains. the test was supposed to last like 15 minutes, they cut it off after 6.
they went in immediately and put a catheter in an artery in her leg and ran it up to her heart, pumping some uv dye or something in there to have a look at her heart. apprently, they found that one of the main arteries heading into her heart was like 70% blocked. they put in a stent, which is a little metal wire mesh thing to basically hold the artery open.
her chest pain was almost immediately gone, just sore from where they pain had been for the past week.
she was in for a few more days, learning to use her walker and stuff, cause she's still recovering from the other effects of the MS hit, but she gets to go home today, and looks like she's out of the woods for anything life threatening at this point.
but because i'd been in a friggin hospital 4 times over the past 5 days, I got sick with some crazy cold, which i'm just recovering from now after a few days of hell.
all is good now though, i think :)
