That's right. I'ma learn how to dance 'em.
And learn more italian and culture.
Cause I want to go to Italy.
And while salsa dancing and meringue is not italian, it is Jeff's culture. And I want to learn.
I want to absorb learning.
Is that an oxymoron?
Doesn't matter.
The house is wonderful. Painting is next on the list and we should be starting that soon.
Jeff's family is coming on 8/16 and my fam will be here 8/18 and leta will be here 8/29.
yes leta and I patched up a few holes a couple of months ago.
If you felt an earthquake at some point it was us arguing i am sure.
and if you saw a rainbow a few weeks later it was us patching it up.
patching it good. You still see stitches, but you make a beautiful quilt along the way that makes you remember what got you so far.
i've tried to encourage the closest in my life to either patch, or move on if you can't find that needle in the haystack that reminds you of what kind of quilt you wanted.
i've tried to be as positive as i can in my life because i feel so much more if i am...
so much more emotion if i am positive.
and you gain so much more knowledge if you are. If you are negative, you block out opportunities to learn. to absorb.
I like absorbing.
and if you invite negativity, you entertain it,. and you live it.

Florida-
Florida was my escape for getting out of a job that i wasn't sure how to get out of. That's how it started.
That was it.
I hated BBB's buying office. I hated the routine. and i was surrounded by negativity. from ny, from fam, from some friends..it was overwhelming.
a few people who wanted me to stay tried to say that running away was not going to make the problems disappear.
I've said that to people in my life as well.
but guess what?
they are gone.........
the majority of things I was so immersed with are gone.
sometimes changing your lifestyle and the company is what you need to make you a better person.
My relationships with my friends i feel are closer now, because distance is no longer taken for granted, and conversations on the phone and thru email are of the utmost value.
back to basics.
That's all it is.
A new notebook. A new rhyme. A new thought. A new place to start from scratch and create who you always wanted to be.
adding a new patch to the quilt. Thats all it is. You don't lose when you have everything to gain.
You just have to get rid of the mentality that you can't live without what you got. Cause you can. and then slowly reincorporate what you cut out on, and you'll realize not only is it a treat, but it's something you don't crave as much anymore.
Florida is without a couple of things..but it's possibilities outweigh that by so much more. It gives you a chance to make yourself better. Even if you decide to go back to square one, at least you have the experience to say-yeah i tried things..and now i'm gonna start from scratch on home ground. its refreshing. it rebuilds you. and your quilt.
