I've just watched the latest episode of NXT, cause Ted is in it and we all know I'm a big Ted Mark because of lady_tavington . I've planned to watch this season of NXT, but I couldn't cause I have no time during week.
But seems like that was better anyways.
I'm angry right now. Like seriously pissed. And disappointed. And I'm so angry that I had to stop watching to find a little breath. That BARELY ever happens to me.
I've never been a feminist and I think feminist are just female sexists.
But SERIOUSLY WWE??
What are you DOING?? DEAR GOOD LORD IN HEAVEN!! I mean it's bad enough that there are BARELY any divas out there who really wrestle during a match (Beth, Melina, Natalya...all the others? Not so much.) and that they're instead degraded to be Guest Star decoration, low class comedy or just plain decoration whatsoever.
We all know that barely any wrestling happens on NXT. The rookies just have to throw themselves in the dirt for WWE and make dance offs and stupid shit I don't even have a name for. It hurts to watch.
I was really, really looking forward for this season, cause OMG NEW DIVAS. YES PLEASE. And when I saw Jamie I was like OMFG there might be good competition for Beth, Melina and Natalya. OMG maybe WWE gives divas a chance! Maybe it improves!
...god, am I naive or what.
This whole NXT season turned into a joke. Beginning with the "pro"s (How can Primo teach ANYONE how to be a diva?! He's not even a superstar!?) and ending with the tasks they have to do. Leaving alone that - of course - the wrestling is not wrestling.
But what kills me right now and made me stop this episode for a moment is the commentary.
Heaven knows I'm a huge fan of Matt Striker and Michael Cole. I think they're hilarious, smart, witty and just overall good commentators. Both of them.
BUTWHATTHEFUCK. They started watching a movie during a match?!?!? And the whole time they say how they HATE being there, how they have to watch this shit?! And OF COURSE all those barely pg jokes and comments, that, in my book, are pure sexist. As if we haven't have enough sexist commentary in Jerry "The King" Lawler.

Maybe I'm oversensitive here. I got a lot of (what I thought was) sexism during the last weeks. Not towards me, god forbid someone should try that, but I'm just seeing a lot of things lately. And maybe this just fits in the line.
But I'm so fucking tired of this.
I'm tired of WHENEVER a girl shows up (ANYWHERE, but this happens in the WWE a lot too) there are two options.
a) Everybody likes her cause she's HOT (Not beautiful. Beautiful doesn't matter. It's the body and the clothes. You got to be sexy to be considered a human being.)
b) She's not attractive (enough) and is, well, not really a human being / not worth mentioning / a reason to make fun of.
I'm really really really fucking tired.
I mean I'm a sexist too. I give you that. Hell yes, I do like my favourites also because they're breathtakingly sexy. I mean sexy like whoa. I mean I watched NXT just because of Teddy in his damn sexy black suit. But I see it as ONE part of them. Teddy IS sexy. But he's also funny, he can wrestle, he has a great heritage and I see a lot of potential in his gimmick if he kills Del Rio.
But when a woman appears, her sexy-ness is ALL that matters.
ALL. Does anyone really care what AJ's gimmick is? NO. Does anyone really care that Aksanna comes NOT from communism (MATT DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH KTHXBYE.) ? NO. Everybody cares about her legs or her ass or her face being "ugly" or "not ugly".
I especially love this: All the discussions about how ugly or not ugly a diva is.
And I love it into pieces when they say "Well she's not as beautiful as Maryse."
Maryse is not beautiful. Not at all. If you see her without Make Up, she looks like an average girl. Hell, even with make up on she's not the most beautiful person on this planet. And that's okay. That's fine. What makes her sexy is her attitude, her behaviour, her toned body and - I'm honest here - her obviously fake boobs are hot as hell too.
My point is a) You can not see if someone is beautiful or not until you see them without Make Up. Especially guys have a hard time to realize that. God, every girl can look like one of the divas with enough Make Up in their faces.
b) IT DOES NOT MATTER. Yes, of course you can talk about it. I talk about the hotness of the superstars 24/7. But it does not affect their ability (or lack of) wrestling skillz. Period.
Divas nowadays can't wrestle.
I'm in a bad position. I wasn't around when Lita was on top. Or Trish. Or those other divas everybody praises to heaven and back. It hurts. I want to. I'm seriously tempted to research those things. To see them.
I'm tempted to go and just go watch some real female fighting. Kickboxing is pretty cool.
I want a counterweight for the BULLSHIT WWE and the rest of the world is giving me.
I swear to Thor or whoever is listening, if I see a lot more of this whole new sexism that is coming up, I'll go rampage.
Woman are human beings. Get that in your fucking head.
There are hot ones, there are sluts, yes, but there are not-hot ones, there are smart ones, strong ones, dumb ones, funny ones, ... etc pp. There are a lot of great women, there are a lot of gtfo-women out there. And not just hot and not-hot ones. Thank you very much.
What kills me - I think - is that I have this massive, great, BRILLIANT images of female characters in my mind such as Huntress from DC Comics or Cassandra Cain from DC Comics or Catwoman (yes, Comics have a lot of great female characters.) or for fucks sake girls like Hermione Granger, Xena, girls in the mythology... there are this GREAT characters out there and I think "Good lord, every little girl should look up to them." (God, I wish I could name more but there are not that many out there, really. I challenge you to find some more.)
And all I see and all everybody cares about is how FUCKABLE a NXT-rookie is.
Are we meat? And what is more important: Do we WANT to be meat? Cause I'm sure the rookies love to be there. Kelly Kelly loves her job. The girls in the rap videos think they're the coolest chicks ever cause they dance next to 50 Cent.
... Are we decoration? Is that all we are good for?
Girls, I'm not asking you to riot. I'm not asking you to go and freak out on every man that makes a sexist comment. Every man will make such comments, cause half of their thoughts is coming from their penisses (which is a sexist comment itself, I know, but it's true. I haz proof.). That will not help anything. And it's just plain stupid.
What I want is more great woman showing off that they're great.
I want more Xenas, I want more Batgirls, I want more Hermiones out there. I want girls to be proud of being a girl and STILL kick some ass (literally or not). I want girls to smirk at sexists and shove their comments down their throats with actions and achievements that you just CAN'T ignore.
Like Melina and Beth and Natalya who will always combine wrestling with hotness and entertainment in a beautiful, modern packet.
Sex is a weapon, Sex is fun. But it's not all we're made of.
We're more than just our weight, our boobs. We're girls.
