Wouldn't make any sense. At least not in this fandom, since there would be....one...person to read it.

And I'm trying really hard to get better in English.

So... *shrugs* Maybe one day in another fandom. Probably not.

LJ > Animexx. But that's a whole nother story.

Besides, even if there was a German fandom that would read fanfic it would suck.

Exactly what I've been saying all these years. But then again it's not that hard to beat Animexx orz

Uh...YES.

But to be fair...the german fandom is a lot smaller than the english one... and Germany.

But still...why does it suck so much? Why is it that the english fandom is so much more creative, polite, nice and does actually COMMENT?

...english > german language. Just like that.

And Animexx sucks balls and I seriously don't know why I'm still there.

I don't think neither size nor language representation is the problem. You can measure fandoms in these respect regardless, just take their size or respective amount of speakers into consideration. Take, I don't know, for every good fic in German twenty good fics in English or more. I've been doing that for the last nine years, which is pretty fair in my opinion, and still came and always come back to the conclusion German fandom just sucks arses ( ... )

The English speaking fandom has another culture than the German one.
This is very true, especially when it comes to Comics. Being a comic fan in America and being adult at the same time isn't a big deal over there. Yes, it's not "cool", but we all know USA is where the geeks came from in the first place *snickers*
Here? Another story. I have trouble to find anyone who actually reads comics, leave alone adults.

Oh, and English is more flexible, it leaves more room to create a writing style that is truly unique and yours.
YES. And I love writing in English, although I still suck. I have trouble to express myself in English, because I'm so used to write in German. But I have fun doing it and I think that' what counts.

Late comment is late. Sorry D:
