My interview with "thenudeinsider" got posted:

Studio news: They've been doing construction up on the third floor since December-ish, putting up framing for lots of new units in the big open space. That kinda sucked, since it was nice to have such convenient access to that area for those "urban decay" shots and that long wall of windows, but I was originally hopeful that new tenants would also mean the place would be a little cleaner. Adam (one of the guys I share the studio with) was talking to one of the builders, though, and apparently they are just doing the construction in order to meet fire code. It doesn't sound like they are really looking for new tenants, so the place may not end up much cleaner in the end. We'll see.
Geekery: My newest love is 4-fold webfu combo: del.icio.us + Firefox + Foxylicious + Launchy.
(actually, there's an optional fifth component, a del.icio.us extension for Firefox, but that's not required for the combo).
- del.icio.us is a social bookmarking site that is tag driven. If you create an account, you can have your own personal store of bookmarks, but del.icio.us leverages the big userbase when suggesting tags for something you want to add, which means tagging something is pretty painless. I love having bookmarks saved by tags rather than a folder hierarchy -- I always want something in more than one spot in a hierarchy.
- Firefox is love, of course. If you want to grab one of the del.icio.us extensions or bookmarklets, it makes saving pages really easy.
- Foxylicious is a Firefox extension that will automagically grab your del.icio.us bookmarks and turn them into bookmarks in your browser's regular old bookmarks folder. There's a few options, but I've got mine set up so that it breaks them into folders by bundle and then tag -- Which is pretty sweet, since now if I tag something with both "Photoshop" and "tutorial", it shows up under both folders.
- Launchy is a fast program launcher. It will index your start menu as well as other folders you want -- You can call it up with a keypress, and it matches as you type. It also indexes the Firefox bookmarks folder, so now all I have to do is start typing and I can get at all those del.icio.us bookmarks!
I really love this since I can bookmark stuff at home or work, and everything stays synced up.
