(no subject)
I've seen two movies in two days. What's that all about? I went to see Transformers last night, which, needless to say, rocked my socks (and was a lot funnier than I gave credit for). Today, I went to see Sicko, which I LOVED and suggest that everyone go see if you have the opportunity. I completely lost it in the end, but then again, so did a lot of people in the audience. I so completely want to move to another country, any other country than this one. I think it's a vast and staggering understatement to say that our government is fucked up, but when it's being so blatantly pointed out to you...yeah, you get the picture. Anyway, yet again, Michael Moore has taken what we may or may not have known and put it into context and by the end of the film, everyone was clapping.
Anyway, after a year of being here in Southaven, my brother is finally coming to visit me and I'm so excited. Of course, he had to be kicked out of his house by his girlfriend to do it, but hey, I'll take what I can get.
