Goodbye, Nee-naw.
for over 17 years, you've been the best kitty cat anyone could ever wish for. from the very moment i saw you, i knew you had a character and a spirit all your own. even when you were being mean to me, i always knew you loved me and you were grateful to me for saving you. i remember feeding you with a dropper and begging my dad over the phone to pleeeeease let us keep you. i remember you getting stuck on the roof of our house in arrowhead more times than i can count and dad having to come home and get you down. i remember thinking we lost you when you didn't come home for 3 days, only to find you sleeping on an old tractor in the barn next door. we took you from arrowhead, to meridian lane, to omaha, to copperfield, to taylor crossing, and finally here (which i think you loved and enjoyed most of all). you were a constant source of comfort for me to come home to every day, and to not hear you meowing when i come through the door will make me miss you even more. i am so thankful that you went so peacefully and comfortably here at home and that i got the chance to say goodbye to you-- really say goodbye to you-- before you left us this morning. i love you and will truly miss you, miss kitty. say hi to bear for me.
