Summary: Cynical_terror asked for: Scenario: 17th century London, Viggo is an aspiring playwright and has just cast his first play. Halfway into the production the leading actor, who plays the part of the main female character in his play is offered a larger roll in a Shakespearean play and quits. becomes indisposed. What will Viggo do with little time to spare and no money to speak of? One day he finds himself being pick pocketed on the street, but he doesn't call the police, because the man who steals from him is perfect for the part, though untrained. Will Viggo convince him and get him ready in time for their debut?!

A/N: I am overjoyed to have been allowed to do this for arianne, one of the most fabulous people LJ has brought to me, not just because I adore her, but also because she wrote The Short Face Bear Project for my challenge and, frankly, it's one of the best things I've ever read. She didn't get her anglicandoorway fic, though, so here it is.
I've played around with one detail of the plot but it's not an important one. ;)
