My new job... :-)
So I finally have something to write about. My job, the one I have been temping at since November, has finally gone permanent. As of Monday (2/27), I am now an official employee of Fish & Richardson P.C. Its a real job, finally. But is it something that I want to do? Well I guess for the next few years anyway until I truly figure everything out. There is great room for advancement and even the possibility for relocation for one of the other 9 offices across the country... if I really wanted to go somewhere else. But I love Boston, so I don't think I would be gone for too long. The perk of this job is the yearly income. Lets just say its over $30,000/year. And that's right out of college. I wonder if most college grads make that much in their first job right out of college.
Its so cool to have my own desk and office. That's right I don't work in a cubicle, I have an office. Granted its in the library, its still an office. I also have a window that looks over towards Fenway Park & the Citgo Sign (see below):
How cool is that.
My office is starting to feel like my own. I have a cool calender of Italy on my wall, some pictures hanging around the place, and other different creature comforts that make it MY office. Its great I love it. Well I really should get back to work. LoL that still sounds weird to me sometimes.
