The Glimmer still flickers...

The lunch yesterday was promising.  A co-worker is leaving for Iraq (had the wrong deployment information, before) this fall, but he has to do some training prior to leaving.  He is quitting this week, and he wanted me to "pick up his slack" when he leaves.

But I was told that there are projects coming down the pike, so we stand a chance of staying in business.  Wahoo!  And they are mostly in Revit, not AutoCAD!  Yep!  I loved working in Revit!  It makes so much more sense in many areas that AutoCAD did not do.  However, there are advantages in AutoCAD, too.  So it is good that I am able to import one file into the other!  Wheeee!

* I am having lunch with Julia's leader this afternoon.  We are closing the troop for the year, and starting to prepare for activities in the next year.

* And I have several vests to sew on patches & badges.  It is about $40 of work, but $40 is better than $0, no?

* Gardening is a good thing.  I think that I will do some, today.

* Reading is also a good thing.  I think that I will do some. today.

* I think fish for dinner, tonight.
