Till I met another man who's wounded and head-tripped....

It is so good to be home. It's very comforting to be here. The lights are beautiful, and the fresh snow is making everything look so romantic. I did shopping yesterday, early before the storm hit. Popped into ON to check on my schedule (because SURPRISE ! Allison never told Ed I was coming home. Thanks) and made Ian all nervous. He got off work early because of the snow and helped me with my shopping for a bit. He walked me to my car and gave me a kiss. In the mall, we were pretty stealthy -- a quick hug when he met me in FYE, he held my hand for s second on Best But, but I think he thought since we were out of the mall (and I wasn't parked with ON employees) we were in the clear. He walked back to his car and bumped into his supervisor on the way. Oops! We'll have to be a bit more careful. John didn't see us, but we'll have to be more stealth. It's not like we can get fired, but I can tell he really doesn't want to get in any sort of trouble. I don't mind -- it makes those little expressions more meaningful. It's nice.

We've got plans for tonight, but the weather's got them up in the air. It'll either be dinner and Christmas lights in Lakeville or dinner and a movie. Either way, I'm really looking forward to it. I missed him a ton, and I can tell he did too (since he asked my to find him yesterday).

I'm sitting here, wrapping gifts, with Travel Channel Disney on mute and some mellow tunes on the computer. I am so home.

I missed this feeling.
