Okay, so this mix is a lot of old stuff... but I've just been following my heart with music this year. Not to discount new music-- there's been plenty of interesting works coming out, but filling in the cracks of what I've missed over the years has been invigorating (although some of these songs are here just to keep the flow). Especially noteworthy: Chinaboise, Mark Tucker and Ilitch. Mark Tucker presupposed Panda Bear, and Ilitch presupposed Ariel Pink (not in the song presented here) by about 20 years. Coincidence?
*EDIT - The Slits' Typical Girl is somewhere in here too... forgot to mention it.
