Last night was a blast!
Had the big hockey game yesterday. What a blast! :> We won, 5-3, against the Fairfax Blackhawks. It was a rather scrappy game. One of my teammates was involved in a fight, he got five minutes penalty for fighting, the guy who started it got a game misconduct. One guy on the other team (#49, don't remember his name), kept knocking me down, took a penalty for it once for interference. 3rd period, bastard not only trips me, but then proceeds to roll over on me and hold me down. I ended up taking two minutes for slashing in retaliation for this last incident. What a great game, though. :>
Sewing:
I've started on the Blue/tiedye blue velvet skating dress. It's a halter style with stringed back (sunray pattern) and a triple circular skirt that is longer and comes to a point at centre back. The bodice and skirt are of the tiedyed velvet, the underpanty, collar, and strings are of the plain velvet. I'm hoping to finish it today and bring it down to the rink to see what some of the skaters think of it. :)
My leg isn't nearly as sore today. I was worried that it might be, but it seems that if anything, forcing myself to skate on it made it loosen up some. (if I didn't mention before, it seems that I managed to pull or otherwise strain a muscle in my right thigh dancing on thursday night at the club).
Anyway, should get back to the sewing.
