I guess I'm not the only one...

Not ever having worked in a call-center, I've never found it a problem until this whole need-to-find-a-job-right-the-fuck-now situation. As I mentioned in this entry, it's incredibly physically stressful for me to make a call. Thankfully, most times I make a call, the number's being dialed from memory and I don't have much of a chance to change my mind.

I don't have any problem receiving calls, and cheerfully answer, "Hell, this is James!" pretty much as soon as I can. Outgoing calls have become quite the problem though, since it just took me a day and a half (ish) to make a call, and to a friend no less! I don't think it's helping that I have even less human interaction now than I did working swing by myself at PT.

Ridiculous. It's not like the phone's going to bite.
