(no subject)
Well let's see here, I haven't updated in about a week, so let's get a recap.
Monday: Not much happened, I just studied with Kim after school for a math test the next day, which I didn't do very well on anyway.
Tuesday: This is where my lack-of-sleep week started. I had a math portfolio and a physics outline and notecards due the next day, so I maybe got 4 hours of sleep or less this night.
Wednesday: Suprisingly, even though I had no sleep the night before, I wasn't tired at all the whole day. I was practically bouncing off the walls. At night was the Winter Concert, which was nice. I went with Bri and Mark and Jay and Arnie were there! Afterwards, Marie, Arnie, Jay, Mayuko, Meg Frank, and I all went to Friendly's for some ice cream. It was fun but I didn't get to bed till late again that night, so I was pretty tired the next day, but I wasn't hit yet by the lack of sleep yet.
Thursday: We had a party in Writer's Workshop, and I brought in Dreamphone. Ms. Mahoney played with Kim, Sarah, and I, it was really funny, especially when the guy on the phone told Ms. Mahoney "I know who it is, but I'm not telling, HA HA!" She just looked at the phone and was like "EW! You loser!!" And she was checking out the two older looking men on the board, and was like, I'm hoping Carlos likes me! Except Sarah won, which is unfair since she already has a boyfriend! Kim was ready to kill her, but hey, it's only a game! I also had work...which was really crazy since 3 people called out sick, Erin, Marie, and Sarah, so I called Kim and she came in for 2 hours.
Friday: Basically a nothing day of school, which was great. The slideshows were good, so was the whole holiday assembly in general. We had our cookie exchange in girl scouts, and also baked tons of cookies together at Bri's house for it. I got to hang out with Jay and Arnie later on, we went bowling in Wayne. The alley was pretty nice, but mad expensive. It wasn't very smokey, so that's a plus. Jay got practically 200 both games, a 198 in the second game, I recall. I was playing horribly, I only got a 103 and a 100, but I still beat Arnie both games! We went to 7-11 also, where we talked a bit with Amy and Emily, and I got a yummy slurpee. :)
Saturday: I had work, and it went by pretty fast, I tried not to look at the clock all day so that may be a reason for it. I saw Harry Potter with Arnie and Marie, and after that we met up with Mike and Jay. Marie went home because of curfew, but then we went to Sportsworld. It was really fun...I kicked Jay's ass in Virtua Tennis, and I kicked Mike's in air hockey. :) I love hanging out with my boys...but I miss my girls from our group, poor Lizzy was sick, and Marie had to go home. :(
Today: Slept in for once, to make up for the hours of sleep I've missed in the past week. Went to the Rag Shop with Carrie to get some ornaments. I was basically lazy the whole day...but I did get around to making Bri's butterscotch tart for her present. Tomorrow will be busy, though. I have to get presents for Jenny and Lee, and I don't know what to get them. I also have to do the guys' presents, and work... blah :P
