Right. Sorry for overloading you guys with two updates in two days, and probably another one tomorrow, but it is the end of the school year.
Today was the eight graders' last day of school.
We had Promotion Practices, two periods of classes, and then a dance. Third period was our last art class, and my friends and I did nothing but fool about and sign yearbooks, stomachs, etc. Pretty fun. Fourth was Spanish, with the lovely Ms Smith. She's a bit like... [Yer Mom!!] I dunno. Little reminiscent of a Nazi, really. We actually did work, and she yelled at us a bit, gave us a lecture, that sort of thing. After the bell rang, all the eight graders on the first floor started clapping, screaming, etc, because THAT was the last class of the day.
We went up to fifth period so that our teachers could escort us to the lunch room, so my class went up to Mr Machi's room. Reason #87 to love Mr Machi: When Telmer asked him to sign his shirt (and everyone else asked him to sign their yearbooks), he pulled out his homework stamp and put it on Telmer's shirt. The shirt and my yearbook, says this: THANK YOU for doing your homework! Mr Machi. We went down to the lunch room and they handed out awards (I got four: perfect attendance, art, humanities, and something else...). Finally, we were allowed to go to the dance. It started out really crap (deja vu!), but it got better, as usual. I danced with everyone. Danny, Jesse, Gabe, Sal (Mo), Steve...
Steve kissed my hand.
After I got an ice cream, along with Telmer, Jeff, etc, there were the last two songs. There was some dirty dancing, I'll admit it. *is slightly ashamed* We (the Fab Gang and I) had a huge group hug, with the Mach Attack, and we hugged everyone else within reach. I had a kissing spree, and Danny, Beni, Steve and Sal all ended up blushing.
Tomorrow's Promotion. What will I do without all of my peeps? *cries silently*
