Sometimes Selling Out is Giving Up

Jun 24, 2005 00:58

Growing is one thing. Having absolutely no sense of self is another. If you can't learn from your "mistakes", they were never worth it. Sometimes, I get scared to trust people because they are always going to let you down in one way or another. You can only hope it's not devastating when it happens.

Fuck you, Kellen. "Finding yourself" isn't worth it if you compromise EVERYTHING you "stand for" in the process.

Is integrity dead?

edit: (1:45 AM) It's awesome when your one of your best friends moves to the city, becomes an expert on the meaning of life, and laughs at your trite existance.

Sometimes I want to give up on people... At least I can think of an appropriate, posi song quote (haha, no seriously).

"Disappointment sure does have a way of adding up. But it's all a matter of perspective so we'd better start looking up. Don't give up... cause someone said these are our glory days." -- Modern Life is War
