(no subject)
i've been postponing a real update for a while now. i want everyone to know that everyone here is fine. i am worried more about my family than anything else.
my mom's entire family live(d) in chalmette, louisiana. for those that don't know, that's about 15 minutes south of new orleans. that's saint bernard parish. well, it was, anyway. my aunts, uncles, and grandparents have all lost their homes. everyone is safe and accounted for except my grandpa, and his girlfriend vivian. last we heard, they were stranded on the roof of andrew jackson high school. they might have been picked up, they might be in a shelter.. i don't want to think of the other possibilities. i've been watching www.nola.com & www.wwltv.com for constant updates. i've had to stop looking at the pictures, because it depresses me.
if you believe in it, please pray for my family.
isabel is going to be two on saturday. TWO! dear god. i can't believe how fast it's gone by. we're having her birthday party at the park. she'll love it.
oh, and we're also moving this weekend into a new house. brandi is moving in with us! YAY! i'm excited..
but could there BE more stress in my life right now?
