My Nerves.
Cha Sing found a job as corporate secretary and recommended it to me. So I thought, why not, and decided to go for it. It's a good thing I waited till today to go for the interview, because I didn't think that work permits get approved so quickly. Either way -- I went there, we talked, and immediately bam. They're hiring me.
And I start Monday.
This nerve. I can't get enough of it. Cha Sing hasn't even gotten her work permit approved, so I'm not sure when she will start. And I'm not familiar with secretarial work, even if the manager promised that they would help us. I...still haven't pulled myself away from internet life, which is the worst part of all. It didn't bother me before on my part-time job since I was on my laptop anyway and I could do whatever I want, not to mention I wasn't on Twitter RP then, but I doubt I can do that this time, especially since company might be monitoring our computer activities. I need a cellphone that lets me go on Twitter at least, man. Recommend a cellphone to me, thanks. I like Android phone, but brand...
Meanwhile, parents are here for three days, they're leaving tomorrow. Mom's birthday was yesterday, so we took a walk around Esplanade and Marina Bay Sands, then headed to Crystal Jade Kitchen at Suntec City for dinner. Came across the Fountain of Wealth for the first time, never knew how...extensive it is. While Big Sis and I were excited about the fountain, Dad remarked with disinterest: "It's just big amount of water splashing about." We laughed. Dad makes the funniest comments.
Hopefully I can grab my medical exam result tomorrow, and then perhaps go to the dentist's immediately after so I don't delay it, now that I have work. ...Ugh, that thought again.
