Before the Storm
Obligatory update of my life, because I can't really think of anything else to post except to rant, which, needs to be under friends' lock, so I'll do that later.
Lil Sis came by last Wednesday. Picked her up from the train station 'cause she wouldn't know how to get out from there, since she hasn't been here since last July and lots had changed from December onwards. Spent most of the afternoons taking her shopping, which we didn't really buy much, just looked. Saturday, went to Universal Studios (second time for me) with sisters, which was really cool, since we got to go to almost every ride and none of them having to wait more than 15 minutes. Unfortunately, this one stupid rollercoaster almost broke my neck. I think it was my first time on an open-air rollercoaster, and we didn't expect it to move that fast, really. Geez. Neck hurt like heck on Monday, otherwise much better later.
Bro and Sis-in-law came on Saturday night and left Monday morning too. I love talking to Sis-in-law. She doesn't get mad, she gives advices, like a big sister should. Bro was his usual self. I'm glad they were around too, because I might not be able to handle Big Sis well after Sunday night.
And then I fried my computer on Sunday night. Was playing Call of Duty, got to the good part, and then poof. Spazzy screen. Forced shutdown, only to get a black screen when I turned it on again, and it never started up. Took it to a nearby shop to repair on Monday, and apparently it's because the GPU was long damaged. Couldn't get it back on Tuesday since it was National Day here, and then got it just before they closed last night. And then I discovered that it's receiving very low wifi signals for some reason. Can't even detect our own modem when I was in the next room. Still the same now, I think. I'll have to take it back later, sigh.
Other than that, life. Isn't very exciting. Tiring, maybe. What to do.
