Beginning of a New Road
The only time guys would be polite to the girls:
Prof Chris: So who should we start with?
Guys: Ladies first!
Me: *face/palm*
So it seems that I'll be the only girl in class for ADA and SEAD, both of which only have about 10 or less students. I'm still familiar with most of them, and of course, Jun Yan will be my partner whenever. But still kinda boring without the usual gang. Computers in the labs are now equipped with Windows 7, looks pretty all right so far, but just a tad bit too slow---perhaps they didn't upgrade the memory or something.
However, I'm already liking my lecturers! Dr Thomas for SEAD, he's a smoker who coughs a lot, but actually a fun guy. Will take a while getting used to his strong Aussie accent though. Prof Chris for ADA...nngh, he's just too cute! He seemed so nervous, he was trembling when he laughed too, haha. But yes, I am liking him so much too. Why go to Australia when we already have the good ones here?
Work load is moderate for now, even if our first assignment is due on the 4th week... And I don't know about the lessons still, though I know I'll be having a little problem because my brain's already emptied of everything I knew before, geez. So yeah, this semester should be okay despite the scattered timetable.
By the way, I'm starting to feel okay, though still bummed about being away from home, but now that classes have started, I'll come around.
