It Just Gets Better
12:21am. Yun2 wished me happy birthday through phone message, which really surprised me because I didn't think that she'd be the one to wish me. Though I was asleep by then.
Morning. Checked my phone to find 2 more messages from Mitchelle and Chuan, and went on Facebook to find another 6, not including 2 which were advanced wishes from Jin Mei and Laarni. Then the wishes kept coming from Facebook, so now there's about 17 wishes on there. Lil sis stood at the door, put her hands up and went "Happy Birthday!" Add 3 more birthday messages on the phone, 2 other on DeviantArt (thanks pompi and animetor_lily), then went out with parents to shop a bit, but didn't really get anything for me because I honestly don't know what I like.
Mom: What do you want for your birthday?
Me: Er, I don't know.
Dad: It's your birthday?
He even forgets his own birthday, what the heck...
Returned home to more wishes. 5 more off DeviantArt, of which 4 are from complete strangers... 2 on MangaBullet (Lily, again), sirousa wished me off Twitter (we really need to talk!), yuechuu went crazy on AIM (makes me nervous). And then I see my name on animetor_lily's (again...) and bent_cigarettes, and also luna_meow (which is a bit indirect since she wished my other account)... T-there's a special thread for me in the D18 forum, which makes me feel really awkward because I barely talk to anyone on there (except roleplayed Reborn). On MSN, Nikki messaged me like always, and then Aaron, hngh, faked Japanese with him throughout, which is just funny. I've never received this many wishes, seriously. I'm starting to get emotional already.
Gifts! animetor_lily drew Ryuu and Mai, hnngh! Makes me feel so bad for not getting her anything on her birthday. Then luna_meow send me Reborn feudal era bookmarks with a letter. Mukuro looks retarded, but nice Hibari. Then, er, pompi's is late...hope I receive it before I go overseas.
Too bad steamboat dinner got canceled. We had leftovers and decided to eat at home instead. Food is good though. Birthday cake? What birthday cake? I never had a birthday cake in my life. So none in my face, yay.
And they say Friday the 13th is bad luck. Yeah, having my face all warmed up from this is bad. But I really appreciate them, everyone. I don't even care about Valentine's anymore.
Though, darn, I'm 20. But not legal to vote yet.
