(no subject)
Good weekend.
Went to Steve's for his graduation party thrown by his parents. It was nice. Matt & Emily and Charlie & Lucy were there, as were Tom & Katie. We hadn't seen them in a while and it turns out that they are expecting a newborn in December, a week after Thanksgiving. Yeah for them! I just hope everyone else that is planning on starting soon will have as good of luck as they have had.
Also at Steve's, I met the allusive Allison. She seemed nice enough. Didn't get to talk to her a whole lot. Brad thinks she was either too intimidated by us (the whole group can come on a little strong, we've known each other for so long no) or Steve had warned her to stay away. But the best part was hearing Mamma Moon and Allison's mom conspiring and comparing notes, even down to mentioning how clueless Steve is. :) Maybe, just maybe......
Lastly, tonight Brad and I registered for out trip to Paris in January. So we're officially going to Paris over MLK. I can't wait! Sure, it'll be cold as hell, but I've seen Paris in summer and spring. I need the other two seasons to be able to complete the song.

I can't imagine a better sight than the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe in the snowfall...beautiful B&W photos. I will definitely have bought my digital camera by then!
Random question of the night:
If you could change any one event or circumstance of your life, what would it be?
Me: I would keep in touch better with my friends...I'm horrible at it and feel like I may have lost some great friends because of it. I can name at least one from each period of my life that I wish I had kept in touch with better. Amy (elem. school), Jennifer (MS), Carrie (MS&HS), Abby (HS), Heather, Ali and Emily (YHC)...
But I do think I do a good job at randomly trying. Abby, for example...I try at least. :) Beth and I also try. But being in VA hurts things.
Oh well...off to bed. I have to get up at the same time tomorrow depsite no school so that I can get Ryan to daycare and then back home again before the cable guy comes out.
