Istanbul (Not Constantinople)

I have a bit of a love-hate relationship to this song.

It's a great and very catchy song. So catchy, in fact, that ever since I first heard it, I can not hear the words Istanbul or Constantinople without starting to sing it to myself. This becomes a problem when you study the history of Chritianity and Islam. Today I missed a great chunk of a lecture because all I could hear was "Istanbul was Constantinople, now it's Istanbul not Constantinople" over and over again.
So now I decided I should share the curse.:)

At least we'll never forget what Istanbul was called before its name was changed.

randomness, music
