Getting to know you!!!
Now I'm totally new to Live Journal so when I first signed up I thought I'd just jot down what I had been up to and what was on my mind in an online diary and I didn't really expect anyone to even stumble accross it!!! Now I'm not saying many people have read/or will read it but I have come to realise what a good way it is to meet like minded people. I said something along those lines yesterday in a post on TRA, but to be honest it has really hit home today as I have been looking around LJ.
I'm excited at the thought of making new friends here. When you meet people in real life it is all to easy to make judgements on appearance (no matter how hard we may try not too!!) where as on the internet we generally form an opinion based on interests and behaviour, which when we actually think about it are the some of the most important things anyway.
So, I'm going to spend some time in the coming days and weeks getting to know people on Live Journal and I'm really looking forward to it!!!
