I'm back, with tales of my time in Warrington!!!

God, I hadn't realised it had been so long since I had last posted, I've been out having too much fun I guess!!!

Firstly I went to stay with my younger brother Stevo in Warrington. I had a fantastic time up there, it was the first time in age's that I had been out 'on the town' and it was an absolute blast.

I travelled up on the Friday (18th) and we went karaoke on the Saturday night. Steve is a karaoke king and as per usual sang Elvis, but I was also treated to a new addition to his catalogue of 'essential tracks' which was Ruby by the Kaiser Chiefs which he done a fantastic job on.

On the Sunday we did a bar and club crawl. I am ashamed to say I got absolutely smashed, I can't remember being as drunk as I was that night since I went to Falaraki many years ago. I was so drunk I propositioned a guy and brought him home (which is particularly out of character for me!!!) but hey I'm 31 years old, single and was in need of a shag!!!!! (and believe me it was worth it!!!!!) He seemed like quite a nice bloke, seperated, with two kids and older than me. Now this may sound uninteresting but firstly I never go out with older men, I never go out with men with kids and I never go out with married men (seperated or not!!) so it just goes to show what 10 or so double Jack Daniels and coke can do to a girl!!! He has got in touch a few times and says he really likes me but there is the minor issue of him living 200 miles away, which  could be a problem if I decided I was interested in something permanent and to be honest I'm not sure that I am!!!

Anyway I spent the next few days pretty much chilling (On Monday I was particularly ill, self inflicted I know) and on Thursday we travelled back to London, we being me, Steve and Joanne (Steve's girlfriend).

On Thursday (24th May) the three of us went to see Matt Berry in concert at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London. Matt is one of my most favourite people in the whole wide world (I adore him). I first saw him in Garth Marenghi's Darkplace (One of my fave comedy shows of all time) then he was in in The Mighty Boosh (as Dixon Bainbridge) and then he then went on to write and star in Snuff Box (with fellow Boosh co star Rich Fulcher). The concert was fantastic and Steve and Jo were lucky enough to meet Matt Holness and Richard Ayoade in the Bar when they went out to get drinks and we all saw Rich Fulcher in the bar before the show (but were too scared to say hello!!!).

Steve and Jo stayed down for the weekend, we had a BBQ at Alan's (our older brother) on Saturday and spent some time with my Mum and Dad. They went home Sunday.

I had been planning to visit Steve at the end of June in time for a charity event in Bury (with some of the stars from Life On Mars) but sadly I don't think this is going to happen. Money is tight and I haven't booked my train and I know to book now will cost an absolute fortune. Instead I think I'll go up in July for his birthday (unless he comes down here instead) we'll have to see!!!

Anyway that's enough for now, I've still got to write about my holiday in Gran Canaria, but that will have to wait, as Doctor Who is on in 15 mins and I don't want to miss a second of that!!! VOTE SAXON X
