heyy i've been watching the 24 hour pro ana group, and i wanted to let you know you are right about the insulin thing. i have a diabetic in my family, so i know. i can explain real quick since the girls on there didn't know what they were talking about

when there's excess insulin (like there would be if it was secreted for the food you just ate, but now the food has been purged), it will still act on the sugars in your blood, causing your blood sugar to run low (because now there is too much insulin for the actual amount of sugar/carbs you took in). low blood sugars always lead to weight gain. i don't know the chemistry for this, but it is 100% true. some diabetics will actually purposely fun their blood sugars too high (not ENOUGH insulin), because it helps them lose weight.
the only difference is, i dont know how much weight you would actually gain, as a non diabetic. since you have a normal pancreas, your body would release glucogon when there is too much insulin after purging. the weight gain shouldn't be very large, as it would be a diabetic whos body would not self-correct.

i hope that made sense, i just wanted to let you know since nobody else seemed to!
good luck xx
