acnl: day 62 quick update w/ pics

christmas day in acnl kingdom is a quiet and fairly normal day. if your character gave all the gifts correctly on toy day, you receive a picture of jingle the reindeer the following day. here's the picture i got this morning in the mail. i've placed it in my ice room (back room, first floor).
i really, really like the samurai outfit. :) i may be wearing it for quite awhile. lol.
was walking around town and saw that saharah the camel was in town. i didn't ask her to change the look of my main front room this time, as i'm slowly changing furniture from classic series to whatever rococo series furniture i find at the t & t. maybe next time, i will get her to sell me items for the petting of cars.
carpeting. get it? ha. ha.
there was also a camper at the campsite this morning. in winter, the tents look like igloos. or the tents are igloos instead. whatever works.
and inside...
was ricky the orange cranky squirrel. yes! a cranky! queequeg needed a cranky resident to round it out (and i wanted projects that only a cranky personality type will suggest) so after a few games with him and winning and buying some items, i persuaded him to become a resident of the town. in a few days, he'll move in... let's hope he doesn't plant his home in a terrible spot.
i also got cyrus to do his first second item customization (first was a sabertooth cat model.). i won an electric guitar from ricky during one of the games, but i already had one at home so i asked cyrus to change the color from red to orange. :) and here's the custom paint job:
with ricky becoming a resident, it will bump the population of animal villagers to 10. dunno if that will trigger the "i want to move" scenario or not. we'll see.
