acnl: day 60 (w/ pics)
23 dec 2013 is day 60
this will be relatively brief, as the big event for acnl is tomorrow -- christmas eve or as it is known in acnl kingdom, "toy day". barold the gray bear cub left. there's now 9 animal residents in queequeg which means either the game will trigger another animal to leave or at some point the campsite will have a visitor. let's hope it's a cranky personality so i can try to woo them to become a queequeg resident.
-- went swimming and caught a scallop. gave it to pascal and he left me a cannon. lol. here's his bit o' otter wisdom:
-- redd stopped by in town again and so another opportunity to add artwork to the museum:
fake. the slingshot that's supposed to be slung on one shoulder looks like a towel slung on both shoulders.
real. if fake, there would be a hole in the big leaf. caravaggio's basket of fruit.
fake. her hair is down. it should be in a bun if real.
fake. she should be looking to the right and not to the left.
-- francine will be very, very unhappy if she gets the wrong gift. lol.
gulliver visited again:
he sent me a tribal mask the next day in the mail.
-- got my daily coffee from brewster:
-- 21 december was winter solstice and it was pitch dark the whole day. isabelle was in town plaza and she gives you a blue glow stick. it's just something to hold as you walk about the place.
-- and when nighttime hits, the borealis fills the sky in your town.
-- finally managed to make a snowman (4 of them. lol.) hit all the numbers after a few days and got bingo!. he gave me a snowboard.
i'll make another report of the toy day events in a few days.
