well, after playing animal crossing: a new leaf for two days, i can officially say that I'M ADDICTED, HALP!!!!

just kidding.

... no, i'm addicted. hera's tits! this is the most awesome game evar!!!! ahem.

queequeg has the cutest, most adorable citizens, people. what a great bunch! i love them all. even bud. duuude, bud, maaan. the citizens are: astrid the kangaroo and her little joey in her pocket, bruce the deer, bud the lion, isabelle the dog (my assistant), molly the duck (who is so very cute, i could eatherfaceohsocuuute!), and hugh the pig. there's also agnes, a new resident who has set up a tent and has yet to move in town. i've made a down payment on my house (10.000 bills) so i'll be able to move in tomorrow. thus far i've just been fishing, collecting fruit, and collecting sea shells and selling said items for bells ( i.e. money). actually, that's basically how you earn money to do everything for the game. it's "grinding" in gamer terms, but it seems much more amusing in animal crossing: new leaf -- now known as acnl for brevity.

i've got a 45% positive rating from the citizens so i'm on my way to reaching 100% so i can unlock "mayoral powers" and start building stuff and improving the town. the citizens are oddly obsessed with t-shirts and tees. i've said, "yes" to numerous favors when asked by townsfolk and more than likely, i get a (more than not, fugly) shirt as a reward. frankly, i'm befuddled. oh! i caught a big ol' pike once while fishing and was on my way to sell it for major bells when molly the duck stopped me and asked for it. i gave it to her because i cannot resist her ohsocuteicouldeatherfaceshe'ssocuuuuute face and my reward? a frog costume top (aka another damn fugly shirt). le sigh.

and halloween is coming up and there's a to-do then. i was sent a skull mask from jack (o' lantern(?) ) so i'm looking forward to what will happen in game when the 31st rolls around.
