I've waited a while to post about this, but there was some assembly required and I only managed to get that completely finished yesterday. So here 'tis:
I'm still in the process of warping it up for the first time. It did come with a set of instructions for 'easy' warping (you wind the warp directly onto the loom basically) but I couldn't make them work for me, so I've been doing it the same way as for the other loom (of course, once I'd started that I worked out what I'd missed with the easy method, so I'll be trying that next time). I am a bit nervous about weaving with it, on account of the size. It might take some time to figure out how to do it comfortably.
Yeah, whenever suits. I have nearly finished the test piece I started this week. I will have to put a bit of thought into what to do next. Or, insert my hand randomly into the yarn stash and see what comes out :-)
I'm using a worsted merino yarn for both warp and weft. I only have the one reed at the moment, so whatever I do next will have to be around the same weight.
Hmmm, maybe I should get a Ravelry account. That's the second time today I've run into 'you must sign in to Ravelry to view this page'. The universe is clearly trying to send me a message...
Heh. I just went and signed up. I can see I could sink many hours into this. I have my yarn stash catalogued on my phone, but I might have to transfer it to Ravelry. It looks like it might be easier to keep track of...

I'm thinking of doing something with this yarn for my next project. It looks like water when it's made up into something and it feels amazing.
