Having myself a properly sweetened Coca-Cola with my lunch, now that I'm back. Blue-and-white sky, sun, muggy (for West Coast values of "mug").
Bony cat can barely make bird-noises, somewhat sounding like the small tooting honks of sliding furniture feet. I suspect his throat is dry.
As usual, the wifi in these parts is being sneaky, so not sure when I can post this or check email. Or download last night's House and Boston Legal.
Besides the glasses-on-the-MAX folly coming home from the Comics Fest on Sunday, I neglected also to retrieve my F&SF mag (with boarding-passes bookmark) from a connecting flight today. Luckily the gate agent was able to print me out another, but I shall now need to repurchase the magazine, since I hadn't gotten to the Swanwick story that was why I bought it in the first place.
In conclusion, I recommend Superstore Cheesy Buns for a salty healthless lunch.
