Heavenly Wanderers in your very own Home!
Handsome and accurate, yet still affordable!
Why not purchase a globe today?

R.D. Tardis's hand-carved Magrathea Prime line of Planetary Globe Models has been Endorsed by men and women of Science at Universities, and armchair enthusiasts alike, as being both "Educational and Highly Accurate"!

We currently have designed eleven (11) wanderers' portraits, any or all of which is available for immediate order and delivery. Each planet has been made in a rotating and a non-rotating model. Especially including the latest progress of the Astronomical Science: discoveries of "dark-planet"s at the furthest reaches of our solar system, as seen in the most accurate of telescopes.

Hermes (Mercury)
Aphrodite (Venus)
Gaia Hemeric (Tellus, day-time)
Gaia Nephelic (Tellus, clouded)
Selene (Luna)
Ares (Mars)
Zeus (Jupiter)
Kronos (Saturn)
Poseidon (Neptune)
Ouranos (Caelus)
Hades (Pluto)

The Magrathea Prime line of Planetary Globe Models, combines a highly detailed popular painting of your chosen planet, with a hand carved wooden spheroid from our workshop, using the modern Photoxanth (patent pending) Process. We guarantee this image of the Earth (or Mars, &c.) will not rub off!, no matter how many times your new globe is spun by avid students.

Important Notice for Educators!
The Magrathea Prime line of globes is NOT sized to scale with each other, and they are not suited for relative scientific comparisons, but we CAN and WILL carve larger or smaller ones at your request.

These globes are sized to fit your desktop. Please do visit again soon: we have designed new decorative educational models, which are being carved NOW in the workshop. These are Library-Globes: larger floor-standing models encased in a lovely polished hardwood stand. They will spin as you turn them. There will also be an Orrery in a Kit, or Model of the Solar System, measured to relative exactitudes of velocity and magnitude.

For your individual planetary needs, we also accept bespoke custom, and can tailor a planet (of reasonable size) to your requests.

Now, does anybody (zenmondo? Was that yours I saw?) have a Second Life storefront, of which they want to rent a corner to a journeywoman carver? Please send a Message Instantly to Dvora Tardis, if so.

And now I must go do some (not as late as you think) pointless US taxes.

i made this, second life, steampunk, science
