UW Financial Aid
I received a preliminary financial aid award (a UW email directed me to the webpage where I viewed it). Two problems present themselves:
I replied to the preliminary award email, and asked them about living expenses (and the possibility of private loans). I also mentioned that I've faxed them the student resources/expenses form (as requested in a previous email). (This was faxed last Friday afternoon, the 21st.)
Until this gets sorted out, I can't actually register for my Fall required classes.
- The amounts for tuition appear to be too low for me (a Graduate Tier 3 Nonresident). In fact, the program is fee-based (per credit charges), so the award does seem to cover 8 credits per term. Whew.
- There is no amount allocated/offered for anything else. Id est, no living expenses. Which, they themselves estimate as non-zero.
