Remainders
Day before yesterday we went to Richmond with a friend from UBC, intending to show her The Daiso, but since Aberceen Centre was entirely closed by the time we arrived, she ended up showing us T&T (Asian supermarket chain) instead. Came home with lots of ramen, among other things. We will try Aberdeen again tomorrow evening.
Yesterday I came straight home from work instead of going to the pizza party at UBC with gragathaz's lab, because I've been pretty tired this week and because I wanted to actually get the dishes done before folks show up tonight. Instead of doing dishes, I crashed after eating some ramen and took a nap. After waking up, I did my work job for free: stretched out my fantasy section onto the former mystery bookcase, and then grossly sorted the "to be read" stacks onto their eventual shelving units.
Misc:
I was called a "book junkie" yesterday at work, and also told that I am "magic" for organizing the overstocked books. The Meaning of Liff is better than I expected. I have a rat under a blanket next to me on the couch right now. I think I will take some mini bao to work with me and nuke them for lunch today.
