Newton's Nest - A Legacy Housebuild.

Spring passed Adam and Zoe by in a blur of endless sleep deprived days and nights. Brianna hardly seemed to sleep at all, but somehow Adam managed to keep going to work, while Zoe worked from home, albeit not very successfully. They had the shell of the house, and all the internal walls finished, but some rooms needed decorating, including their master suite, but they moved into it anyway freeing up what would eventually be the dining room.

Then came the bombshell, yes, Zoe was pregnant again....

It was the last day of spring when Caitlyn made her appearance, by which time Brianna was a toddler and her child style room was mostly decorated. Not that she was sleeping in it, the toddler bed was in the playroom with the slice and other toddler toys etc. She was learning her toddler skills, and proving to be an inquisitive mind, always after a new bit of learning, and boy did she like to sleep.

The First Day of Summer brought no real relief to Adam, nor Zoe, although they had completed the decorating of their master suite, they still lacked any bathroom fittings in there or in their little sitting room which also still lacked windows. Brianna's suite was now fully furnished and decorated, and they had the walls and carpet down in Caitlyn's suite too. Adam was a little sad that Caitlyn wasn't the boy he'd hoped for, but, he wasn't sure he had the energy to try again either as there was still so much to do in the house.....

They needed to properly fit out the kitchen and breakfast room, the Dining Room, the Study, the second kids suite, the Master Bathroom, the landscaping wasn't started yet, and the greenhouse needed expanding already! Still, that was producing a lot of crops on a daily basis, and Patchy was an excellent plant tender and house cleaner!

He was quite often caught taking out the rubbish, cleaning counters and washing dishes. Handy when Zoe and Adam were still busy working and now parenting two children!
