A thoroughly pleasant day was had, and more good days are coming...
miketo and his lady came up to our neck of the woods and we had lunch in Fairhaven and then they came out to see our piece of the woods. We had crossed paths here in LJ, I believe, but this was the first time we'd actually met despite living a short road trip away from each other - the cats liked the pair of them, and so did rdeck and I, immensely. A thorougly pleasant day was had, indeed.
And tomorrow is Christmas Eve.
And the day after that, Christmas morning.
And the week after that I'll be polishing up something that will be going to New York in the first week of the new year. And come January... I have a new novel to start writing.
There are times I step back and look at my life and am simply... content.
